Richard T. "Jim" Holland produced some low key instructional pdf files and videos showing some of the things he does with endurance horses to make them tractable. He says that keeping your horse calm through the excitement of a race will help him perform better.
- Placing calmness as a paramount value in his training program;
- Providing a high quality set of instructional materials free to the public;
- Being willing to kiss his horse on the nose in front of God and everybody.

I meant for this comment to be about Trocha but I couldn't find comment bar on that post. Anyways... I like Trocha as well. He is a pretty accomplished trainer/rider in the western industry. What I find even more interesting about him though is the fact that Larry (a horse trainer) went from making $2,000 a month online to $32,000 in one month online in just 6 months! He did what so many of us aspire to... He took his knowledge of horses and the horse industry and his ability to break down and communicate what he has learned in an easy way. He provides quality content for a fair price and he markets his product and his brand ( brand being himself) every single day. He is an inspiration to those of us looking for ways to thrive in the horse industry. I feel ya Larry... If only being a cowboy still paid the bills...
